Food And Beverages
The Food and Beverages department traces back to 2002 when MNH brought Haagen Dazs to Kuwait. MNH brought smiles to thousands of customers through the Ice Cream brand and had established itself as the backbone to the brand and helped the latter to adapt to the diverse Kuwaiti market while retaining the core values of the company through which it stands out.
After a successful, long-lasting relationship being cemented with Haagen Dazs, in 2014, MNH acquired two famous cafes, Illy Espressamente and Dilmah Lounge almost simultaneously. With these acquirements, MNH showed that it is multicultural and diverse and takes immense pride in its multicultural team.
Since conquering the Cafes market, MNH has not looked back. The company expanded and started acquiring restaurants, the first being the Turkish restaurant, Sütis. It was the first restaurant to bring Turkish waiters to Kuwait, thus throwing light on the multicultural facet of the company. More nationalities became part of the team and MNH grew in diversity.
MNH then bought out a brand called Tikka Loumi from Amar Al Fouzal, an executive chef. The brand was revamped and the name of the restaurant was changed to Khaneen (Aroma in Arabic). From Khaneen, MNH acquired another Turkish restaurant, Hatay Sofrasi. Through this, MNH conquered the Turkish market in Kuwait.
In 2016, MNH shifted strategies. They were no longer interested in acquiring franchises. They wanted to develop their own brand of restaurant. And so, Solia was launched. What started with a team of 4 nationalities has now grown and expanded into a team of 18 nationalities and has become one of the biggest assets of the company.
Our departments values are that of integrity, energy and passion and are driven by the love for the industry. MNH believes that customer experience is the priority and will strive to work towards the satisfaction of each and every customer.
